2022 RIDE DESCRIPTIONS

In addition to these rides, there will be several self-led rides to choose from!

Lead- Josee Boal
Sweep-  Sherrie Rowlison

The trip to Mohican State Park and Pure Heaven is an easy-going ride with many slow curves and some Amish buggies, but not too difficult.

Let's start the day by going Cuckoo! After a few quick curves, we will make it to Sugarcreek, where you will see the world's largest Cuckoo clock (featured on the cover of the Guinness Book of World Records in 1977). Take some pictures, then head out to ride leisurely, heading to Lakeville and having a nice lunch at the Iron Pony Saloon. Afterward, to help you digest your wonderful meal, we will take a hike at the Mohican State Park by the covered bridge (bring your walking shoes/boots). You will enjoy the beautiful scenery on a slow, curvy road to get there.

When everyone is ready, we will head back to where we came from on the curvy roads we found! Nothing too crazy, just nice and sloppy! Of course, we will end our journey at Pure Heaven in Baltic, where you will find something for your sweet tooth if you have one of those! Then we will return to the Dealership!

We've added even more hills, twisty curves, sharp curves, and even some scenic lake views on the GT57' Ride with Dee and Cathy G!

We'll be heading east from the dealership, riding through the beautiful Atwood Lake region, then taking in some beautiful country scenery. From there, we'll go through Waynesburg for some new added twisty curves, then head out to Minerva to stop and eat at the 50's style diner, Minerva Classic 57' (55 miles). The food is delicious, and their pie is to die for! The side street next to the restaurant will be reserved for parking. We'll have a private area, so plan to spread out and be comfortable! Cathy and Dee have already "test rode" the food and can't wait for another piece of that pie!

Next, we'll ride through some gorgeous farm country with rolling hills and curves through New Alexander, stop at Guilford Lake for a photo opp then through Lisbon, Salineville, and Carrollton. After that, things start to straighten out through more country roads we love in Ohio, leading us back to the dealership. If you have the Harley-Davidson® app, this route was created in the ride planner and can be shared to use with your phone.

Join us for a great adventure back in time. We will roll through Amish Country, down to the mighty Muskingum River. On our way, you will see lots of Amish buggies and beautiful rolling countryside. What is a ride in Amish County without a stop for cheese?  We’ve got that. Our first stop will be Pearl Valley Cheese, so bring a cooler if you’re interested.

After that, we’ll head down to Muddy Misers for lunch. This is a beautiful spot on the Muskingum River. It has great food, a great atmosphere, and fun, curvy roads to get there.

Ladies, we will be going into Zanesville, so please know your “popcorn drop”. If you’re not sure, please feel free to ask one of your ride leaders.

We’ll head back through Amish Country to the dealership on Friday and to the individual hotels on Saturday to get ready for the evening festivities. If time allows, we'll stop for ice cream!

Let your mind go back in time …to when we were kids …wanting to explore new things, feeling free, and wondering what it would be like to "ride a motorcycle."  Women have come a long way in this sport. Through time we have made our mark as "Female Motorcyclists"! Riding gives us a chance to build a whole new circle of friends, challenges our own abilities, and fills us with pride and a sense of joy. That's what women have accomplished "through time."

So, join us on our ride – it's a great way to spend your day and a chance to mingle with new friends! This ride will take you on some country roads and rolling hills, enjoying curves, twists, and lots of smiles. Our route is all on paved roads. We will meander through the countryside beside rivers, winding through tunnels of trees and wonderful farmland. Our lunch stop is at "Central Station Steak & Ale" in Cambridge. The menu has a variety for everyone's palette, from soups and salads to premium steaks. After lunch, we do have a chance to fuel up, because we have more great roads to enjoy – and what's a motorcycle ride without an ice cream stop…. a great pair!

After a leisurely ride, we'll return to the Dealership. A great ride and memories and friends will be made, for sure!

Come "spin your wheels" with us as we rocket through southeastern Ohio's Amish country and farmland and into the little town where John Glenn, one of our greatest space pioneers, was raised. These roads are beautiful and challenging, with amazing views and plenty of Adventure. Our lunch stop is at Melissa's Winterset Kitchen, with an ice cream stop later in the day. We'll also glimpse John Glenn's hometown and college alma mater.

I always felt there should be a beginner’s ride at LAW so I finally decided to lead one and Val graciously agreed to be the sweep. This ride includes slower speeds, lots of fun curves, some tight turns, highway, left-had turns, roundabout, decline and inkling going in a d out of 2nd stop (Jefferson Lake Park).

This ride is relaxed but adventurous, making it ideal for beginners and/or novice riders.  The roads on this route are not straight and flat.  This is ladies ADVENTURE weekend…be prepared for an adventure, but at a slower pace.  Group riding experience will be helpful.  Advanced riders may not enjoy the pace of this ride.

There will be 2 comfort stops and a gas stop before our lunch break in Carrollton at Heartland Hill Restaurant.  They offer a wide selection of food with reasonable prices and accept cash or credit.

In case you wanted to take a test run before LAW, the route includes 212, 151, 646, 151, 7, 39 and 43, with a few side roads added in.

Since I do not know everyone’s skill level or experience, I made the ride description pretty detailed.

I want all riders to know exactly what to expect on this ride.  If you have any questions or concerns about this ride before you register for it, please contact me through LAW or FB.  I want everyone to be comfortable with their ride choice and experience.

Canton is also the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame; we will take a small walking tour of the brand-new Centennial Plaza.

Lunch will be at the Arcadia Grill. They have an old-school vibe and serve a delicious selection of mainly Italian/American cuisine for the last 100 years. Hello ladies, welcome back! This year we're headed back down to the Ohio River. It's been 5 years since our last ride down to the Ohio River and we've got a different route and a new restaurant. I call it The 151 Run. We'll pick up 151 in Bowerston and ride to Jewett for our first gas/comfort stop about 40 miles in. Excellent food and large portions. Our return ride home includes another gas/comfort stop at 100 miles. More tight turns and lots of open curves. Just kick back and enjoy all that we have to offer.

We'll be taking a group photo at the restaurant with the cutaway hills in the background.

This ride includes some tricky curves.

Last year, we zipped around the curves and flew over the hills to Linda's Country Kitchen in Adena. We were greeted by the staff, who treated us like family. With such great roads, yummy food, and friendly reception, it seems a MUST to do it again!

Though all state routes, some of the curves get tricky! Trikes and anyone following in a car may find themselves braking often.

We'll wind and roll through Amish country, visit Piedmont Lake, and delight in some home-style cooking at Linda's. The return ride is a little more leisurely but just as scenic!

Join us on a ride that was so nice in 2021; we gotta do it twice!
