Consider The Motorcycle's Size
When it comes to motorcycles, one size doesn’t necessarily fit all. Ergonomic considerations like your height or arm span are important to keep in mind as you shop. If you’re a bit taller or shorter than average, we highly recommend doing a test drive before purchasing a model. There’s nothing worse than finding a model that seems perfect for your needs only for it to not fit you. Factor In Your Experience Level
Operating a motorcycle is a bit more involved than driving a car or truck, at least on the physical level. Motorcycles are steered just as much by the rider shifting their weight as they are by the handlebars. Larger, heavier bikes are more difficult to steer since it takes more effort to shift the vehicle’s weight. However, this can actually be a good thing for less experienced riders, since there is less of a danger that you’ll accidentally steer into danger. Heavier motorcycles are also more stable. Lighter motorcycles tend to offer more control, but also require more athleticism and experience to operate effectively. Engine power is another factor to keep in mind. Most manufacturers offer very similar models with engines of varying strength to account for riders who might lack the experience to handle a beefier machine.
